Give each claim a place to check
Ask “Where can I read that?” Then check whether the answer concerns the same product.
A clear trail helps: a product name, the record behind the claim and a question about what remains unknown.
Match the evidence to the product
Ask which medicine was studied, what condition was studied and whether the offered product is the same one.
The US agency that regulates drugs is the Food and Drug Administration, or FDA. A doctor or pharmacist makes each compounded medicine to order.
FDA flags claims that a compounded product matches the proven results of an approved product; this was checked September 26, 2026.
Ask for a readable drug label and an explanation of the part that relates to your question.
Know what a licence search can leave out
Arizona’s online doctor-licence records do not show the full history, under the rule checked October 6, 2026.
If a licence page shows no past penalties, that does not prove there were never complaints or official actions.
Ask the state office that licenses the doctor for more public records if the website does not answer your question.
Keep the licence question separate from the question of whether a medicine fits your needs.
Read problem reports with care
The FDA cautions that a problem report alone cannot show whether the medicine was its cause.
A count of reports cannot establish how often a problem happens.
The health professional assessing you is called a clinician.
Ask the clinician to explain the evidence and its limits for the specific product.
Keep any term that still needs plain words on your question list.
Use the date beside the rule or price
Carry the date with a saved rule or quote. Ask whether it still applies when you discuss care.
Compare the full terms with the offer in front of you, including what happens after an introductory price.
Chapter recap
What to carry with you
Keep the source and the question together. You do not have to settle an unclear claim on your own.
Carry it forward
Your question notes
